1950s Cabinet with Rare Enamelled Ceramic Plaque, In the Style of Les Argonautes

A two door cabinet from the 1950s in rich warm-toned wood, raised on cylindrical feet. The doors meet at a rare hand-painted enamelled ceramic plaque depicting a Mediterranean village scene in blue, green and ochre  doubling as the lock escutcheon and a striking decorative focal point, in the style of the Vallauris ceramicists known as Les Argonautes.
